How to Brew Green Tea?
The “oriental elixir” green tea will taste better if it is brewed in water that is 60 to 70 degree Celsius. If it is brewed in fully boiling water it may taste bitter. This is one of the main differences that the use of green tea has with that of black tea. Thus while preparing green tea, allow boiled water to cool a little and pour it in to glass and brew with green tea. Also, it should not be allowed to brew for a long time. Brewing time may be from 2 to 3 minutes.
Desirable Consumption Level:
Some manufacturers recommend that one may drink green tea preparation as many as 10 to 15 cups daily. But that may be because of sales interest. In its homeland China and some East Asian countries the average consumption per person per day is around one liter.
